The new version of the Google Photos app will make photo editing easier.
(Mirror Daily, United States) – The age of Picasa is over. Google photos makes photo editing easier and more fun. The latest update to the editor brings plenty of new, exciting, user-friendly features that will make your social media profiles look more artistic and your phone’s storage emptier.
Google photos makes photo editing easier and more fun. And the new version brings much-awaited modifications to cloud back-up and image browsing. Not to mention the new and improved editing tools that require far less time spent on each photograph.
With the new version of Google Photos, users can process an entire album faster and easier. The app has eliminated the need for saving each photo after editing it and then uploading a new one. Now, you can touch up one photograph and move right next to the other. Any changes will be saved automatically, and there is an existing option of removing all editing and reverting to the original file.
Also, for there is another solution to get rid of those pesky photo bombers. Google Photos allows you to perform a particular crop. The classic templates original, 4:3, 16:9 and square are still available. All you have to do is drag the photo to the wanted size ratio.
But there are much more enhancements that Google made to its app. For example, the search feature is now working astonishingly well. You can search for the word “dog”, and the improved algorithm will give you any image stored on your device that contains a dog.
This feature will come in handy to those people that store massive amounts of photographs on their mobile devices and who spend an eternity manually searching a single file.
And speaking of storage space, the app offers unlimited storage in Google cloud. This means that all of that memory you are currently occupying with tons of photographs will be cleared for other purposes. Also, you will be able to access your files from other devices using your cloud login information.
Other modifications to the photo editing tool include the transformation of “Collections”. The feature is now called “Albums,” which is a more classical approach. Every platform or application that involves photos must have an “Albums” category.
Right above the new, improved classification instrument, you will find a horizontal scrolling row that will offer you easier access to places, people, albums, movies, and videos.
The app is free-to-download and can already be accessed by Android users. Apple users have to wait a little while longer before it becomes available for iPhones.
