Oculus Rift releases 53 tiles for Oculus Touch.
Oculus, the company which developed the award-winning VR headset, has recently confirmed over 50 titles for Oculus Touch. While some of them have been already announced, Oculus has confirmed that all titles will be available for purchase and download starting on the 6th of November.
For those who don’t know what Oculus Touch is, here’s a little reminder. The first version of Oculus Rift launched without any kind of controller. Basically, your movements were limited by the use of the old fashion keyboard and mouse controller combo.
Oculus’s solution to an enhanced VR experience was Oculus touch, a pair of wireless controllers which “read out” your body’s movement and transforms them into in-game actions. The Oculus Touch can be purchased directly from Amazon for $199. Remember that, at the moment, you can only pre-order the hand-held kinetic devices.
In addition, those of you who went ahead and pre-ordered the Oculus Touch will also receive 8 Oculus titles when your order arrives. As for the other titles set to debut on the 6th of December, we can only say that they look amazing even though they kind of lack the able-bodiedness of classic PC games.
One of the most anticipated VR titles is, no doubt, The Unspoken. In this game, players will assume the role of an initiate spellcaster who strive to learn the secrets of a world shaped by back-alley magic duel, conspiracies, and an ancient order which dominates the world of magic.
Another title worth mentioning is Arizona Sunshine, a post-apocalyptic FPP action/adventure zombie survival game. Assume the role of a lonely zombie apocalypse survivor and brave the Arizona desert in search of survivors like yourself.
Arizona Survivor features real-life weapons mechanics, like loading, reloading, and swapping weapons. The game also features a co-op campaign mode and a Horde mode which supports up to five players.
Another great title to mention is Dead and Buried, a western-like FPP game, which allows players to explore, solve puzzles, and participate in gun duels. The game takes advantage of Oculus Touch in order to deliver a mind-blowing experience.
Some of the other titles that will be released on the 6th of December are Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope, Superhot VR, Fruit Ninja VR, Job Simulator, ZR: Zombie Riot, and The Gallery: Call of the Starseed.
