PlayStation Now Subscription Drops Down To $100

"playstation now subscription discount"

PlayStation Now will be 55% off

(Mirror Daily, United States) – For a limited time only, the PlayStation Now subscription drops down to $100 which means a solisd 55% off the normal price. Gamers with a PlayStation 4 will be given a chance to play an array of PlayStation 3 titles on their better performing hardware. However, the price cut is not forever.

Starting on Tuesday, December 8th, 2015, PS4 gamers will have the option of subscribing for 12 months of PlayStation Now for just $99.99. One full year of playing hundreds of titles that they might’ve either missed or never tried before. It could be an excellent opportunity to replay favorite games in nostalgia, or try out prequels to games already finished.

For those still unsure of the high price, it should be noted that Sony normally charges $19.99 per month or $44.99 per three months for the PlayStation Now service. That rounds out to about $240 per year, or $180 per year respectively, depending your preferred payment plan. So, whichever way you favor to pay for your PlayStation Now subscription, the discount is still a bargain.

With $99.99 per year, the offer makes Sony’s services available for just over $8 per month, so the save is substantial. Of course, this is in the case that you even want your PlayStation Now subscription to last a whole year.

For those who have already paid and feel cheated by the sudden announcement, there’s good news as well. The offer is made available for both new and current subscribers. By coughing up $100, players with existing active subscriptions will have 12 more months added to their current plan. So, there’s more time to try out all those old PlayStation 3 games that you have been missing out on.

Sony added more than 105 games in November, which included CAPCOM favorites, such as ‘Resident Evil 4’, ‘Ultra Street Fighter IV’, and ‘Dead Rising 2’. The library is about to expand soon. The Batman Arkham series will be seeing more titles, as ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’ and ‘Batman: Origins’ will be added to the already existing ‘Batman: Arkham City’. It would be an excellent way to revisit the old games that came before this year’s hit ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’.

Among the titles, fighting games such as ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ and ‘Mortal Kombat’ the 2011 edition will be joining the ranks. The latter is a prequel to this year’s recently-awarded Best Fighting Game ‘Mortal Kombat X’, and poses as the star installment that revitalized a dying franchise. Sony also announced the addition of multiple family-friendly LEGO games. So, the gruesome violence is balanced out.

Of course, if you’re not sure it will be worth your money or that your internet connection is not strong enough, you could always try the free 7-day trial for PlayStation Now before you pay up.
