Slashy Souls Is Now Available On Mobile Devices

Slashy Souls is as challenging as the video game from which it drew its inspiration.

(Mirror Daily, United States) – Are you tired of your phone? You want to replace it but it’s working just fine and you have no reason of getting a new one? Fear not because Slashy Souls is now available on mobile devices. The Dark Souls inspired mobile game will surely make you want to throw your device out of the window, as Dark Souls did with your gaming platform.

Bandai Namco, the company responsible for the soul-crushing Dark Souls, announced that it will release a mobile app based on the notoriously difficult video game. Slashy Souls is now available on mobile devices.

The game developing company also pointed out that while Slashy Souls is based on the story behind Dark Souls, it has nothing to do with the action of the video game. The stories live in parallel universes if you want to think about it like that.

Because it is quite hard to include all of those moves and ducks and jumps in a mobile app, Slashy Souls was designed as a runner gaming up. The player basically runs along the dark plains of existence and battles monsters inspired by the Dark Souls gameplay.

There are a lot of different badges that you can collect on your running rampage, but there are also a lot of traps that could end your life in a jiffy. For example, you could be happily defeating a monster and after you run along your merry way a bear trap rips you in two.

So Slashy Souls is in fact inspired by the soul-crushing video game franchise. Like its mommy, the mobile game is unpredictable and you can die any second. There are no “dead moments” when you can breathe a sigh of relief. No, there are only moments of death, every moment, throughout the gameplay.

At least, Bandai Namco was honest about the difficulty level of its new mobile app. The company is marketing the app with the punchline “Why Wait? Die Today!”

Slashy Souls is now available on mobile devices and it can be downloaded for free. It seems that Bandai Namco is putting a lot of faith into their new app, and they are entitled to do so as all the games that were produced by the company lately were very successful.

Even though the Temple Run-like mobile game came as a bit of a surprise, fans are pleased to have yet another Bandai Namco wonder on their hands.

If you’re not convinced whether or not to download it, even though it’s free, you can check out the video below.
