The point-and-click spin-off has five episodes that will make you feel all the feels.

(Mirror Daily, United States) – Telltale will release “Tales from the Borderlands” in April, just in time for Spring Break. The action of the adventure point-and-click game is set somewhere before Borderlands 2. Telltale transformed the bloody alien-shooting game into an adventure point-and-click that puts a lot of stress on the game’s narrative.

Telltale will release “Tales from the Borderlands” in April. Rumors have it that the adventure spin-off of the original first person shooter players will be rewarded with an exclusive unlockable content for the “Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel”

But there is still a lot of waiting to be done until the Pre-Sequel will be launched, so the attention should be focused now on the point-and-click spin-off.

“Tales from the Borderland” graphic episodic point-and-click comedy adventure video game that features the characters from the Borderlands game series. It was developed by Gearbox Software in partnership with Telltale Games.

The game’s format is similar to that of “The Walking Dead”, in the sense that the decisions of the player affect the game’s storyline. There are five major episodes that are set somewhere in the Borderlands universe, most of them on Pandora.

The plot follows the ending of Borderlands 2 when Handsome Jack, Hyperion’s president is killed by Vault Hunters and the players discover the fact that there are more Vaults scattered in the galaxy and they must search for additional Vault Keys that will open them.

The characters are basically the same, with a few additions. The protagonists are Fiona (voiced by Laura Bailey) and Rhys (voiced by non-other than South Park’s Troy Baker). Players separately control both of the characters, and it feels like a mild case of bipolar disease because the two have very different personalities and affinities.

Rhys is an employee at Hyperion who works very hard and asks no questions because his mind is only set on a promotion. Fiona is an orphaned con-artist that works with her sister.

There are also plenty of side characters like Rhys’s co-workers Vaughn, Yvette, and Hugo Vasquez or Fiona’s sister, Sasha, or her mentor, Felix.

Telltale will release “Tales from the Borderlands” in April and it will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

The narrative of the story will more than often make you roll in the aisles or even snivel a little bit. But as Rhys says, “Everybody thinks they’re the hero of their own story”. And you will be, a double hero when you’ll get your copy of “Tales from the Borderlands” this April.
